Thomas Kent Snyder of Chester, NE the son of Donald and Georgia (Mulch) Snyder was born February 7, 1953 in Belleville, KS. He departed this life Friday, April 29, 2022 at Bryan East in Lincoln, NE at the age of 69 years.

Tom grew up in Belleville, KS attending school and graduating from Belleville High School with the class of 1971.

He married June 7, 1974 in Bellville, KS this union was blessed with the birth of three children.

He later married Pat Korensky May 16, 2003 in Hebron, NE.

He worked as a warehouse manager for Peblo Chemical in Concordia, KS for 17 years, and later worked for F & A Food Sales in Concordia, KS for 10 years. He retired in Chester, NE.

Tom liked being out in God’s great creation doing yard work, always said he was going out to pick the lumber up out of the yard, he also enjoyed fishing, watching Husker Football, KU Basketball, and K-State Football. Pat and Tom liked being outside just sitting on the porch.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Pat of Chester, NE, son Justin Snyder and wife Traci of Concordia, KS, daughters: Randi Aldrige and husband Ray and Sierra Snyder, both of Concordia, KS, brother: Dan Snyder of Belleville, KS, sisters: Sharon Thompson and husband Rob of Lawrence, NE, and Rhonda Passmore of Belleville, KS, and four grandchildren.

Following Tom’s wishes, he was cremated and no visitation. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Kroll Funeral Home Chapel in Hebron, NE at 2PM. Officiant will be Father Steve Major. “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art” will be sung by Heath Hoge, accompanist Colton Jones.  Memorials in care of the family.
