Sheron Schoof of Hebron, NE the daughter of Floyd and Edna (Parsons) Barnes was born March 1, 1942 in Red Cloud, NE. She departed this life Sunday, February 26, 2023 in Beloit, KS at the age of 80 years.

Sheron grew up in Red Cloud, NE attending school and graduating from Red Cloud High School with the class of 1960.

She married Clarence Schoof February 25, 1967 in Belleville, KS. This union was blessed with the birth of one son.

She enjoyed making crafts out of rocks she collected even out of her driveway. She also made many crochet rugs sharing them with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence, son James, one sister Mary Brummer and sister-in-law Vicki Schoof.

She is survived by one brother Mike Barnes of Hastings, NE, sisters; Connie Foster of MO, Teresa Hoffman of Cawker City, KS, Yvonna Bosco of Salina, KS, Eve Urias of Corpus Christi, TX, brother-in-law Vern Schoof of Hebron, sister-in-law Delores Cottam of Belleville, KS, nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the First Community Church in Hebron, NE at 10:30 AM. Officiant will be Pastor Steve Speichinger, organist Judy Kassebaum, congregational hymns, “Amazing Grace”, “In The Garden”, and “How Great Thou Art”. Memorials in care of the family.
