Sharon Ann Goeking of Hebron, NE the daughter of Walter and Dorothy (Weber) White was born May 30, 1943 in Hebron, NE. She departed this life Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Thayer County Health Services in Hebron, NE at the age of 78 years.

Sharon grew up in Hebron and graduated from Hebron High School with the class of 1961. She apprenticed under Dorothy McLaughlin at her beauty shop in Hebron and received her beautician license. She then went to work for June’s Beauty Shop in Fairbury, NE.

She married Dale Goeking September 5, 1964 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Fairbury, NE. This union was blessed with the birth of two children.

The couple moved to Hebron where Sharon worked at Blue Valley Lutheran Nursing Home in the dietary department until her health forced her to retire.

Sharon was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hebron, and a member of St. Ann’s Altar Society.

Her and Dale liked driving on the river road for an outing, maybe going on to Fairbury for a treat at McDonald’s. She also enjoyed watching TV, especially the Hallmark channel, word puzzles, and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale, and infant sister Barbara White, brother-in-law Robert Williams.

She is survived by her son Dale Goeking Jr. and wife Cindi of St. Libory, NE and daughter

Deb Goeking of Hebron, NE, sister Trish Williams of Leakesville, MS, nieces, newphews and friends.

Following Sharon’s wishes, she will be cremated. A private family inurnment will be set at a later date.
