On Saturday, January 30, 2021, Kaitlen Elizabeth Riley, loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away at age 19. Kaitlen was born on August 22, 2001 to Troy Riley and Terry Riley.

 Kaitlen graduated from Concordia High School in 2020, and was attending Baker University majoring in Psychology to become a Therapist.

Kaitlen had a passion for playing tennis, drawing, writing, and hanging out with friends and family. She had a special love for animals and people in need, Kaitlen had a unique ability to see the good in people.

Kaitlen was preceded in death by her Great Grandparents George and Ann Kniep and Melvin and Adeline Rippe, Grandfather Richard Bergstrom, and uncle, Mike Fritz.

She survived by her mother Terry Riley (Kent Morgan) of Concordia, KS, sister Autumn (Gage) Cress of El Dorado, KS, father Troy (Nancy) Riley of Perry, KS, three siblings: Devonn Wilson-Riley of Perry, KS, Gage (Brianna) Wilson of Clay Center, KS, and Sicilia Wilson of Ireland, Grandparents George and Kathy Kniep of Ruskin, NE and Isse (Merlin) Lemons of Perry, KS, aunts: Tracy (Mark) Stauss of Grand Island, NE, Tammy (Jo) Patterson of Hebron, NE, Cheryl (Justin) Bergstrom of Perry, KS,  uncle: Troy Kniep of Ruskin, NE, niece Kloie Wilson of Clay Center, KS, and multiple cousins and friends.

There will be a Fellowship and greeting  friends at the Fellowship Christian Church in Concordia, KS on Thursday, February 4 from 5:00-8:00 PM. A private family graveside service will be held at Spring Creek Cemetery in Ruskin, NE on Friday, February 5 at 1:00 PM. The family asks that memorials go to the O’Connor Animal Shelter, Concordia, KS or the Kaitlen Riley Scholarship fund in care of Terry Riley at 417 W 16th St.  Concordia, KS  66901.  Condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com.  Kroll Funeral Home of Hebron, NE is in charge of arrangements.
