Joyce Ann Taylor of Hebron, NE the daughter of Alvin and Alma (Waidelich) Reynolds was born November 9, 1946 in Whitewater, WI. She departed this life Friday, January 25, 2019 at Thayer County Health Services in Hebron, NE at the age of 72 years.

Joyce grew up in Whitewater, WI attending school.

Joyce married Larry Taylor in Carson City, NV on April 23, 1964. This union was blessed with the birth of two children.

The couple moved to California where Joyce volunteered at the hospital and at school.

In 1999 Joyce moved to Fairbury, NE where she was a resident for 20 years. In 2019 because of failing health she moved to Hebron to be close to her daughter Cindy.

She enjoyed crocheting, watching TV, baking goodies for the kids and grandchildren, collecting Elvis paraphernalia, and cows. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry, infant brother Jackie Reynolds, sister Joan Brockmeier and husband Dick, and grandson James Taylor.

She is survived by her son Larry Taylor and wife Billie of Fife Lake, Michigan, and daughter Cindy Southard and husband John of Hebron, NE, brothers Bill Reynolds and wife Donna of Green Bay, WI, and Alvin (Butch) Reynolds and wife Ann of AZ, grandchildren; Starla Taylor and fiance Mike Patterson, and Crystal Miller and Mark both of Hebron, 4 great-grandchildren; Falynn, Kaisley, and Theodore Miller, and Jackson Patterson, nieces, nephews and friends.

Following Joyce’s wishes she was cremated, no visitation. Memorial service will be 11 AM at Kroll Funeral Home Chapel in Hebron February 8, 2019 in Hebron, NE. Officiant will be Pastor Rick Jones, recorded hymns “Amazing Grace “, and “How Great Thou Art” soloist Dakota Cherney singing “Jealous Of The Angels”. Inurnment will be at a later date. Condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com. Memorials may be sent to her daughter Cindy Southard at 527 Olive Ave. Hebron, NE 68370. Kroll Funeral Home in Hebron is in charge of arrangements.
