John Paul Deepe of Sutton formerly Hebron, NE the son of Paul and Norma (Henderson) Deepe was born September 11, 1949 in Shickley, NE. He departed this life Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at The Sutton Community Home in Sutton, NE at the age of 71 years.

John grew up on a farm in the Hebron area attending school.

John loved the farm working with his dad where ever needed. Just being out in God’s great creation. He also worked for William’s Drilling Company in Belvidere, Reinke Manufacturing in Deshler, NE as a welder, and for the Village of Belvidere mowing and keeping up the town.

He married Vonnie Ehlers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Max Deepe and Roger Deepe.

He is survived by his son Dustin Verhage, and daughter Daunia Lemke, brother Ronnie Deepe of Hebron, NE, sisters Linda Sterba and husband Jerry of Hebron, and Debbie Kuhlman and husband Rob of Chester, NE, special friends Jim and Patty Davis, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 2, 1021 at The Hebron Bible Church at 10:30 AM. Officiant will be Pastor Jeff Friesen, visitation will be Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Kroll Funeral Home in Hebron, NE from 2-6 PM. Casket bearers; Scen Deepe, Trent Deepe, Tony Deepe, Jim Hergott, Dan Buresh, and Tyson Widler, Congregational hymns “Amazing Grace”, and “In The Garden”, “How Great Thou Art”, and “I’ll Fly Away”, pianist Deb Craig. Memorials in care of the family. Condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com. Burial will be in Hebron City Cemetery.
