James Harman Davis of Hebron, NE the son of Paul and Evelyn (Harman) Davis was born November 13, 1953 in Superior, NE. He departed this life Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Jim grew up in Hastings, NE attending school and graduating from Adam Central. He continued his education attending college.

Jim worked 28 years for Tec Pitre Automotive in Scottsdale, AZ where he received his NIACE Master Mechanic five different times in his mechanic career. He also trained 11 techs to get be master mechanics. He also worked for Rauner Repair in Hebron, NE from 2010 to 2013 before retiring because of his health.

Jim married Patricia Burda July 30, 2009 in Hastings, NE.

Jim was a Boy Scout leader for the Royal Rangers and Pioneers for Christ where he was commander and senior commander.

He like working on many different things especially cars, he could fix anything, but spending time with his family came first, he spent many hours with his kids and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Hayes Davis.

He is survived by his wife Patty Davis of Hebron, son Ryan Burda of Chester, NE and special friend Aletha Watson daughters Toneya Davis of Peoria, AZ, Michelle Kapperman and husband Chris of Milford, NE, and Angela Robinson and husband Darryl of Lincoln, NE, grandchildren; Trent Davis and wife Sarah of Peoria, AZ, Rebecca Burda of Hebron, Corbin Burda of Hebron, Connor Kapperman and Cheyanne Kapperman both of Milford, NE, Kayli Tyler and special friend Troy Ruth of Hebron, NE, Shanara Robinson of Lincoln, NE, Ma’Kyia Pilgrim, Trinitee Pilgrim and Jeremiah Pilgrim all of Lincoln, NE, Damion Elznic of Deshler, NE and four great-grandchildren; Caelyn, Aliyah, Brody and Chase Davis, nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Hebron Bible Church in Hebron, NE at 10:30. Officiant will be Pastor Jeff Friesen, organist Deb Craig, congregation hymns “Old Rugged Cross” and “Amazing Grace” recorded music “Rest High On That Mountain” by Vince Gill and “Peace In The Valley” by Elvis Presley, honorary casket bearers will be the grandchildren, cards may be mailed to Patti Davis 527 Jefferson in Hebron, NE 68370, condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com. Inurnment will be in Hebron City Cemetery. Kroll Funeral Home of Hebron, NE is in charge of arrangement.
