Kroll Funeral Home Hebron, NE 402-768-6165Jackie (Jack) Lee Hunt of Alexandria, NE the son of Albert and Doris (Loveless) Hunt was born September 24, 1944 in Bellwood, NE. He departed this life Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at his residence in Alexandria, NE at the age of 76 years.

Jack grew up and attended school in many places since his dad was in the military.

He worked as a truck driver for Abel Construction Co. traveling to numerous locations.

He liked being in God’s great creation hunting, fishing and just being outside.

Raising a large garden was his pride and joy sharing the produce with family and friends. Decorating his acreage for the holiday was a special project of Jack’s. He decorated for all the holidays, but Christmas was his favorite.

Spending time with his family was his greatest joy especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Hershell, Lavern and an infant brother.

He is survived by sons; Jack Hunt and wife Marcia of Ruskin, NE, Jon Hunt of Kansas, and Joshua Blatchford of Christmas, FL, daughters; Lana Layton of Morrison, OK, Paula Hunt of Morrison, OK, Tina Herring and Kevin Harding of Alexandria, NE, Cyndi Novotny and husband James of Deshler, NE, sister; Elsie Scott of AZ, brother; Marlin Hunt and wife Joyce of Crete, NE, sister-in-law; Dorothy Hunt of Roca, NE, 20 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Roca Cemetery in Roca, NE at 2pm. Visitation Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 9am to 11am at Kroll Funeral Home in Hebron, NE.  Officiant Pastor Gary Lockett, casket bearers; J.J.
