Diana Kay Jacobe of Deshler, NE the daughter of Elmer and Bernice (Young) Kolling was born January 13, 1946 in Deshler, NE. She departed this life Friday, January 1, 2021 at Parkview Haven Nursing Home in Deshler, NE at the age of 74 years.

Diana grew up in Deshler attending school and graduating from Deshler High School with the class of 1964.

After graduation Diana was a switch board operator at the Deshler Phone Company, and worked for Gord’s resturant and bar. Her main job of over 32 years was working for Blue Valley Community Action Head Start where she was teacher aide and the cook. She loved the kids and always had a smile.

She married Robert Jacobe on September 12, 1965 at Peace Lutheran Church in Deshler, NE. This union was blessed with the birth of five children.

Diana moved to Omaha for a short time to be close to her daughter’s kids, but then back to Deshler.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Deshler helping where she was needed this is the church where she was baptized April 29, 1946 by Pastor Ralph House and confirmed April 10, 1960 by Pastor E.F. Janssen

Diana liked playing cards and cooking, always making something special for her family and the neighbors, but most of all she loved spending time with her family especially the grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob, brother Jack Kolling, and daughter-in-law Carol Jacobe.

She is survived by her sons Bobby Jacobe of College Station, TX, Mike Jacobe and Beth Dryer of Lincoln, NE, and Chris Jacobe and wife Cammy of Deshler, NE, daughters; Elizabeth Argo and husband Mike of Omaha, NE and Samatha Jacobe of Omaha, NE, grandchildren; Christopher and Amber Jacobe of College Station, TX, Preston Jacobe and wife Paige of Seward, NE, Nathan Jacobe and Sarah Stephens of Lincoln, NE, Chandler Jacobe and wife Cheyanna of York, NE, Corben, Cadence, and Chaysten Jacobe of Deshler, NE, Aden, Liberty and Justice Jacobe of Omaha, NE, great-grandchildren; Henry and Lauren Jacobe, Izabella, Scarlette and Silas Jacobe, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Following Diana’s wishes she was cremated. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Peace Lutheran Church in Deshler, NE at 11AM, Book signing will be Friday, January 8, 2021 at Kroll Funeral Home in Deshler, NE 1-5PM. Officiant will be Pastor Joe Love, organist Julia Pohlmann, congregational hymns “Amazing Grace”, In The Garden” and “Old Rugged Cross”. Condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com.
