David Allen Meyer of Hebron the son of Dennis and Shirley (Cutsinger) Meyer was born June 3, 1971 at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, TX. He departed this life Friday, February 12, 2021 at his residence in Hebron, NE at the age of 49 years.

David grew up in Bennett, CO attending school and graduating from Bennett High School.

He always had a love for the farm at Stoddard, NE (rural Hebron) he would come back every summer to help his uncle Dean on the farm. Feeding cattle, driving the tractor or wherever he was needed, always having time for a little golf.

He was a member of the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department.

After graduation he went to work managing Columbine Golf Course in Columbine, CO. Moving back to Hebron he worked for LandMark Equipment as a mechanic, and also for Watson Construction.

David like playing golf, hunting but especially being on the farm.

He is preceded in death by his father Dennis Meyer, and uncle Fredric Tietjen.

He is survived by special friend Tiffany Schulte, his mother Shirley Meyer of Dayton, TX, sister Angela Meyer of Dayton, TX, uncles: Dean Meyer and special friend Terry Cabrera of Stoddard, NE, Gerald Meyer and wife Alberta of Bennett, NE, aunts: Caroline Tietjen of Chester, NE and Kathryn Kirkland and uncle Ray Kirkland of Denver, CO, nieces, nephews and friends.

Following David’s wishes he was cremated and no visitation. A memorial service will be held in the spring. Cards may be mailed to Dean Meyer 588 Rd 5800 Hebron, NE.
