Cynthia Lou Pohl of Hebron, NE the daughter of Melvin and Delores (Kirkowsky) Gafford was born March 1, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI. She departed this life Friday, October 15, 2021 at St Elizabeth Health Center in Lincoln, NE at the age of 70 years.

She grew up in Milwaukee and attended school graduating from Milwaukee High School. She continued her education taking some college courses.

She worked for M.I. Bank in Milwaukee, WI as a collection officer.

Cynthia married Michael Pohl July 26, 2014 in McCook, NE.

Cynthia loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed country music and getting out on the dance floor, playing the cello, and taking rides through the Sandhills and around the Niobrara.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Michael Pohl of Hebron, NE, daughter Tara Morehouse of Eagle, WI, brothers Melvin, Mike Gafford all of WI, step-son Alan Pohl and Harper of Georgia, sisters; Victoria Woods, Patricia Gafford, Deanna Rivera, and Diana Gafford Ty River all of WI. Grandchildren Nicholas and Marco Arteaga of WI, six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Following Cynthia’s wishes she was cremated no visitation. Memorial service will be at 2:00 pm at Southern Cross Church in Hebron, NE. Recorded music; “Hallelujah” by 2 Cellos, “One More Day” by Diamond Rio, and “Believe” by Brooks & Dunn, Officiant Pastor Rick Bates, memorials in care of the family, condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com.
