Carol Ann Bucholzer of Hebron, NE the daughter of John and Alma (Woods)Ells was born December 10, 1945 in Omaha, NE. She departed this life Friday, August 26, 2022 at her home in Hebron, NE at the age of 76 years.
Carol grew up in Hebron attending school and graduating from Hebron High School with the class of 1964. She furthered her education attending Omaha Art School receiving an associates degree in Graphic Design.
She married Lyle Bucholzer July 14, 1979 in Hemet, CA.
Carol worked various places with her talent with art including Wonder Bread, Hebron Journal Register, Palm Spring Life Magazine, World Erickson, and also helped her husband with his insurance business. She retired and came back home to Hebron helping in the school kitchen.
She enjoyed interior designing and especially spending time with her family.
She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary in Hebron, NE.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband Lyle of Hebron, sons Nathan Bucholzer of Altus, OK, and Stephen Huckeba of Dallas, TX, daughter Stephenie Smith of Hebron, and Renee Rexford of Montrose, CO, stepson David Bucholzer of CA and John Bucholzer of SC, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, sister Linda Carter of TX, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31 at The First Community Church in Hebron, NE at 10:30 AM with Pastor Steve Speichinger, organist……….., congregational hymns “How Great Thou Art”, “Amazing Grace”, and “In The Garden”, visitation will be Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Kroll Funeral Home in Hebron 2-6 PM with family greeting friends 4-6 PM. Condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com. Memorials in care of the family. Burial will be in the Hebron City Cemetery. Kroll Funeral Home of Hebron, NE is in charge of arrangements.
