Adeline Loetta Rippe of Hebron, NE the daughter of George and Nellie (Nelson) Voss was born June 29, 1924 in Carleton, NE. She departed this life Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Blue Valley Lutheran Nursing Home in Hebron, NE at the age of 94 years.

She was baptized on July 4 by Rev. Pronge at Zion Lutheran Church at Carleton, and confirmed in 1939 at Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron by Rev. Alworth. She attended school at Hebron, and Newton, KS graduating from Hebron High School.

Adeline married Melvin Rippe June 2, 1946 at Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron, NE. This union was blessed with the birth of four daughters.

Working hard was a must on the farm, taking care of the household chores, raising four daughters, and helping Melvin where ever needed.

Melvin and Adeline lived in the Chester area before moving to Hebron.

She was active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron where she taught Sunday School, and a member of Women’s Circle and a 4-H leader.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and spending time with her family especially the grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Melvin, sisters; Rhena Shutt and husband Rei, and Elaine Muhling and husband Robert, grandchildren Donna Stradley and Andrew Karrer.

She is survived by four daughters; Sharon Woltemath and husband Ivan of Hamburg, IA, Kathleen Kniep and husband George of Ruskin, NE, Evon Svoboda and husband Russ of Hubbell, NE, and Joan Karrer and husband Jim of Wichita, KS, sisters-in-law Shirley Rippe of Hebron and Phyliss Ulsh of Portland, OR, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron, NE at 1PM. Officiant will be Pastor Keith Brozek, organist is Brenda Striggow, congregational hymns, “What A Friend We Have In Jesus”, “Amazing Grace”, and “How Great Thou Art”. Visitation will be Monday, May 27, 2019 at Kroll Funeral Home in Hebron 2-6PM. Casket bearers; Mike Woltemath, Troy Kniep, Travis Stradley, Ryan Stradley, James Karrer and Tim Svoboda. Honorary casket bearers; Christine Philpot, Tracy Stauss, Tammy Patterson, Terry Riley, Michelle Svoboda, and Melissa Svoboda. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hebron.
