William Randall Moat of Davenport, NE the son of William and Rena (Barry) Moat was born December 27, 1948 in Lynwood, CA. He departed this life Sunday, March 10, 2019 at his residence in Davenport, NE at the age of 70 years.

He grew up in Lynwood. CA attending school and graduating from Lynwood High School.

Bill started his working career as a framing sub contractor working on many different job sites. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. He was still in the business until the time of his death.

Bill was a car racer driving stock cars, dirt bike racing, he was involved in body building placing 3rd in competition in California.

He married the love of his life Debra Ballinger.

Most of all Bill enjoyed spending time with his family especially the grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Debra of Davenport, sons; Billy Moat of CA, Thomas Moat and wife Faith of AR, Michael Moat of Korea, and Justin Kriss, two daughters; Tammy Moat of CA, and Michelle Anderson and husband Tommy of Davenport, NE, brothers; Ralph Moat, Robert Moat, and Rick Moat, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Davenport City Cemetery in Davenport, NE at 11AM. Memorial may be sent to Debra Moat at 209 North Elm Davenport, NE 68335. Condolence may be left at www.krollfh.com. Kroll Funeral Home of Hebron, NE is in charge of arrangements.
