H. Eugene Wilkinson (Beans) of Hebron, NE the son of Leslie and Ruby Wilkinson was born April 10, 1930 in Eufaula, OK. He departed this life Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Blue Valley Lutheran Nursing Home in Hebron, NE at the age of 87 years.

At a young age he moved to Alexandria, NE with his parents where he attended school. He then started his career in the rodeo circuit traveling around the state. He also worked for area farmers and broke horses.

Upon retirement he lived in Alexandria. Needing a little more help, he moved in with Deb Zoubek and her family. They adopted him as their grandpa. He enjoyed living with their family, feeling right at home.

His hobbies included cutting wood, riding horses, watching TV but most of all spending time with Deb and her family.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his friend Deb Zoubek of Alexandria, her family and friends.

Following Beans’ wishes he will be cremated. Memorial service will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 at Blue Valley Lutheran Nursing Home Chapel in Hebron, NE at 10 AM. Officiant Pastor Mark Hartley. recorded selections “How Great Thou Art” and “Daddy’s Hands” A private inurnment will take place at a later date. Condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com.
