Charles Virgil McWain of Hebron, NE the son of Virgil and Viola (Foster) McWain was born
February 21, 1957 in Falls City, NE. He departed this life Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Thayer County Health Services in Hebron, NE at the age of 62 years.
Chuck grew up in Geneva, NE attending school and graduating from Geneva High School with the class of 1975.
Charles married Diana Dearking September 19, 1981 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ohiowa, NE. This union was blessed with the birth of one son Dalton.
Horses were one of Chuck’s favorite, he enjoyed riding, with his son. He always said he was born a century too late. The wild west is where he wanted to be.
Chuck worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad, Sefel Oil Company in the oil fields, and Carol Wright Factory in Lincoln, NE. He retired because of health reasons.
He loved being out in God’s great creation, fishing, hunting, doing nature drawings, and just enjoying the great outdoors, all of nature, especially all the animals were fascinating to Chuck. He was just one of those people that was willing to help where needed. Most of all Chuck enjoyed spending time with his family and had a special bond with his son Dalton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Marvin Williams and sister Nancy Peppie, brother-in-law Glen Weyer.
He is survived by his wife Diana of Hebron, son Dalton of Waterloo, NE, brother Larry McWain and wife Pat of Surpise, AZ, sisters; Joyce Taylor and husband Kenneth of Colorado Springs, CO, Ellen Weyer of Ainsworth, NE and Linda Eichoff and husband Tom of MO, brother-in-law Robert Peppie of Gresham, NE, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Kroll Funeral Home Chapel in Hebron, NE. Pastor Steve Speichinger officiating, recorded music “Amazing Grace” by Alan Jackson, “Go Rest Hight On That Mountain” by Vince Gill, and “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
