Bonnie RaNae Mueller of Hebron, NE, the daughter of Carl and Florene (Littrell) Eaton was born

April 8, 1943 in Fairbury, NE. She departed this life Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Blue Valley Lutheran Home at the age of 76 years. Bonnie loved spending time with her husband Lyle, daughter Carla, and granddaughter Amanda.

Bonnie grew up in Fairbury attending school and graduating from Fairbury High School.

Bonnie married Lyle Mueller October 21, 1978, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedensau, NE.

She worked at Thayer County Department of Roads before starting her career as dispatcher with Thayer County Law Enforcement where she worked for over 31 years. During her career she mentored many young people that were interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement.

Bonnie loved her pets, raising beautiful flowers, but most of all spending time with her family and friends.

She also loved reading, sewing, cross stitching, and crossword puzzles. Bonnie was very patriotic and enjoyed wearing and decorating with red, white, and blue.

She enjoyed nature and traveling with Lyle. Lighthouses and river boats were favorites with trips to Branson MO, Hannibal MO, and Duluth, MN along with annual trips to see the sandhill crane migration.

She is preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law Erwin Mueller, brother-in-law Eldon Mueller, and special aunts Eavon Zimmerman and June Johnson.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Lyle of Hebron, daughter Carla Cage of Lincoln, NE, granddaughter Amanda Cage of Omaha, NE, mother-in-law Lois Mueller of Deshler, NE, brothers-in-law Gene Mueller and wife Patty of Deshler, and Lloyd Mueller and wife Marilyn of Grand Island, NE, sisters-in-law Raynette Mueller of Oakley, KS, Nancy Lueders and husband Larry of Deshler, NE, along with many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles ,and friends.

Following Bonnie’s wishes she was cremated. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 14, 2019 at Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron, NE at 10 AM. Book signing will be Sunday, October 13, at Kroll Funeral Home in Hebron 2pm-6pm. Honorary casket bearers; Gary Young, Billie West, Betty Fanders, and Patty Hutchison. Organist is Brenda Striggow, congregational hymns “Amazing Grace”, ”How Great Thou Art” and “In The Garden”. Inurnment will be in Hebron City Cemetery. Memorials to Hebron Volunteer Fire Department.
