Billy J. Heimer the son of Ora and Hattie (Boyce) Heimer was born March 30, 1921 north of Hubbell, Nebraska, on his father’s farm. He died Tuesday June 21, 2005 at Blue Valley Lutheran Nursing Home in Hebron, NE at the age of 84.

Billy was an only child and went to school to the 12th grade. He married Lorraine Schutte and they had no children and farmed on the home place till they moved to Hebron in the 60’s. Billy was a lawn care worker in the area. He also did sewing. Billy liked TV, some sports and was noted to be a good handyman. He was a member of the Christian Church of Hebron.

Billy’s wife Lorraine passed away in February of 1983. In later years, he had a special friend Corine Wiedel.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents and wife Lorraine and special friend Corine Wiedel.

He is survived by cousins and his extended family Gary Wiedel and wife Tammy of Hebron, NE and their children Ron and Rusty Hedges and Logan of Beatrice, NE Jim and Mandy Randall of Weed, CA. and their children Emily and Brandon, Sunnie and Josh Hartlette of Superior, NE and their son Chazz. Harry & Jackie Childers of Lexington Park, MD, and their children Dan and Veronica Childers, Jim and Milissa Molitor and their children Randy, Kevin, Steven and Jenny all of Lexington Park, MD and host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday June 24, 2005 at the Christian Church in Hebron, NE. Officiating is Pastor John Walton. Organist Judy Kassebaum. Congregational hymns “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art”. Visitation will be at the Hebron Memorial Funeral Home in Hebron from 9 AM to 8 PM on Thursday. Burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hebron. A memorial has been established. Hebron Memorial Funeral Home of Hebron, NE is in charge of arrangements.
